Are you looking for a photographer? Well, you landed on the right website. When hiring a photographer you will have questions. This page is here to help answer many of the questions you may have about our services.
We like to tell our clients we don’t have a particular “style”. Our style consists of a plethora of different styles that we have learned throughout our years of image making. From dramatic lighting setups, to modern wedding images, to a more filmic look, we intentionally don’t adopt a conventional style that some may be used to. You can look at our images and see for yourself if you think our style is going to work for you, but we like to tell people that our way of shooting and editing is fluid and that we don’t like to pigeonhole ourselves to any particular style.
What's Your Style?
Years of experience. As wedding photographers we are prepared to work in any situation. Weather will not prevent us from capturing your day. We have shot over 400 weddings. We are not just your wedding photographer snapping images. We are telling your story with our creative viewpoint.
We are here to document your moments (hence the name) Organic Moments.
We really do love weddings. We are wedding photographers first and foremost. We enjoy photographing love, being around couples in love and basically all the sexy moments in between. We get asked a lot if we photograph other genres. The answer is YES! Of course we do. Whether you need an engagement session, boudoir, maternity and family photos. We have an awesome photographer on our team who specializes in newborn photography. She is a baby whisperer and will come to your home to pose your little one. We have a team of photographers who work with us and specialize in different aspects of photography but maintain consistency with our work. We have had our team members shadow us at weddings to show them exactly how we run our day. They are now shooting in sync with our style. Of course they have their individual style they bring along for your day but, overall you will feel the Organic Moments touch.
What makes us the team for your events?
We know you really wish they were listed here but, the truth is our collections change with different factors. Such as, if the venue is outside of Florida or New York tri-state area. In that case, we may have to factor in travel cost. Also, if you want one or two photographers or sometimes you might even want a third. We can make tailor made collections specifically for you to include the specific details you would like in your particular package.
What are your prices?
Well that depends on which package you pick. You might only want one photographer. You might want a team. We will chat about that when you book us. Our 2022 packages have built in an “Erica and Josh” wedding package in case you want both of us and an “Erica or Josh” package. We also get booked separately with a second photographer from our team. You also have a chance that you might book our team members as well. Our team has been by our side practicing and taking in the way we shoot with of course their personal touch. All of this is discussed at booking.
who will be my photographer?
We are professional travelers. We tell people we are snowbirds. We live half the year in Florida and the other half we spend in the New York tri state area. We are really on the go 50% of the time with our passports ready. We also love the fall and changing of the seasons. We fly back and forth on the weeknd's for most of the fall and spring. So what happens if you book a wedding for the summer months in Florida? Simple, we will arrange with you beforehand. A simple flight to Florida is less than 3 hours and any weddings in Florida have no travel cost . What is your travel fee if you are not in our area? If we need airfare/hotel/car rental we will pay for it and just need a reimbursement
Do you travel or where are you based out of?
Yes! We have an in house video team.
do you do video?
YES, of course! We will contact your venue and send them over a certificate of insurance before your wedding date.
My venue requires insurance, do you have insurance?
We will take 6-8 weeks to hand edit your photos. Each photo is individually hand edited. Then they are uploaded to an online album that you can order prints or directly download to your computer.
How long will it take to receive our images after our wedding?
You receive a password to your online album to download the unwatermarked images. (Unless you picked a package that didn’t come with digitals).
Do the images come watermarked?
You will get a print release. You can print your image anywhere you want. (Unless you picked a package that didn’t come with digitals.) Organic Moments Photography keeps the copyright as Organic Moments is the creator of the images.
Will I get a copyright?
This is a hard question to answer. Say there are 2 couples. Couple 1 had an intimate 15 person wedding for 4 hours and couple 2 had a 12 hour wedding with 350 people. Couple 2 would receive more images because their day was longer and they had more individuals to photograph. The answer to this question is we are storytellers. We are here to document your day and tell you story.
How many images come in your average wedding?
YES we absolutely do. (Check out our blog on why you should make a wedding album.)
do you make printed albums?
We will send you over a contract and information for our retainer. The retainer is $1000 and the rest is due 4 weeks before your wedding. Without both the contract and retainer we cannot hold the date. It would not be fair to our other clients.
If we book you and our schedule goes longer then expected will you stay? Yes! In your contract we will have a rate for extra hours that you will know about before your big day just in case this happens.
