This town in Palm Beach County offers a dense sub-urban feel. Jupiter has a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. And its beaches are lovely, so picking a park or a beach for your engagement shoot location, could be a great option. Here we will go over some of our favorite engagement photoshoot locations in Jupiter.
It’s so nice to see couples back to planning and getting their engagement photoshoots done again. Many of them had kept it on hold due to the COVID scare for a long time. But with restrictions lifted up and businesses opening, this has become possible again. Of course, with the CDC rules in compliance.
Should I Book a Park, a Beach or a Resort?
Deciding your type of location shouldn’t be difficult. The two of you need to analyze your personality as a couple. You need to be on the same page when deciding a location. It should make you both happy. A park would mean a lot of greenery, beautiful arches. The photographer can play with shadows and light coming from in-between the trees. Such photos look mesmerizing and romantic. There could be orange-yellow leaves or flowers in the background. This would depend on the season you choose. There could be moss-covered stones, benches, stairs to make your photos look amazing.
So if you choose a beach, there will be undoubtedly, a lot of sand and water. A kiss in front of a stunning sunrise or sunset would make for a great picture. You can be in your beachwear or any other favorite dress and get really lively and romantic pictures at a beach.
You can also book a resort at a beach for a few hours to get your engagement photoshoot done. The good part would be, you would get the best of indoors and outdoors. You will have a place to get ready or do touch-ups if you wish. And the best thing would be that you can extend this romantic day into an even romantic evening. You two can have a good dinner then spend some time alone in the resort after the shoot.

We hope now you have an idea about the kind of photoshoot you want. To make this easier for you, we will tell you about our favorite engagement photoshoot locations in Jupiter. You can get some great engagement photos captured here.
Here is a list of our favorites:
1. Riverbend Park (CLICK HERE )
Riverbend is at the west of I-95 and the Florida Turnpike. It opens from sunrise to sunset. There are over 5 miles of fresh water leading into the Loxahatchee River. Over 7 miles of horse trails and 10 miles of shell packed trail ways for bikers and hikers. Cranes, alligators, deer, otters, snakes, birds and bugs are all residents of Riverbend. This is very much worthy of an engagement photoshoot.
2. Jupiter Lighthouse (CLICK HERE )
This is the most photographed monument in town. The lighthouse has been standing there for hundreds of years. It is iconic for Jupiter. Most people shoot the lighthouse from restaurants from across the intracoastal. But with permissions, we can get some of your shots near the incredible spiral staircase.
3. Coral Cove Park (CLICK HERE )
While this park is light on acreage, once here, you’ll experience the beauty of old Florida. Coral Cove park has 600 feet of guarded beach. It has 600 feet of intracoastal waterway frontage. It offers picnic areas with grills, playground, restroom facilities and outdoor showers. You can get a nice engagement photoshoot done here and enjoy the place too.
4. Jonathan Dickinson State Park (CLICK HERE)
Jonathan Dickinson Park is north of Tequesta about a mile past County Line Road. You can do biking, camping and river tours in Dickinson State Park. There’s a fee to enter the park, but well worth it. On the east side of US Highway 1, you can find a lesser-known spot north of the main entrance to Dickenson. This has about a dozen parking spots and a wooden staircase leading down through a canopy of sea grapes. This has been one of the best-kept secrets of the area. It’s rare to find people at this hidden gem of a spot. It overlooks the spectacular Jupiter Island mansions. This can be JUST the thing you need now. No people around and no health scare.
5. Blowing Rocks ( CLICK HERE )
This is a nature conservatory on the northern end of Jupiter Island. Blowing Rock is full of beauty. You can visit it at sunrise to catch red and orange skies. You will witness the waves push the water through the rocks creating geyser effects. Weekends can get crowded, so Monday through Friday tend to be the best times. Especially in these times of social-distancing. You can relax while I take some of your photographs in the awe-inspiring scenery of Blowing Rocks. There are beautiful coral reefs full of colorful fish a few yards from the shoreline. If you are lucky we can get a few shots with these in the background.
6. Jupiter Beach Resort (CLICK HERE )
Set on 1,000 feet of private beach, this upscale resort is 2 miles from Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum. Island-inspired rooms and suites with mahogany furniture offer ocean-view balconies. Dining options include an oceanfront restaurant, a lounge, and a poolside bar. There’s also a spa if you two wish to treat yourself and relax with aromatic oils. The resort fee provides access to the outdoor pool, tennis and basketball courts. They have an exercise room, plus beach chairs and bike rentals. Parking is free.
This could be your perfect engagement session location. You get a good vacation after or before the shoot. It would be a romantic as well as a luxurious spot if you are in a mood to splurge.
