While there are thousands of rom coms out there, we still prefer the love stories we get to hear from our couples. Not only are they “based on a true story”, they always manage to strengthen our belief in the power of love. We honestly never get sick of it. And probably never will. Jasmine and Jordan are high school sweethearts in the truest sense, and theirs is one of those love stories that really is made for being adapted into a book and then possibly into a blockbuster too. It’s got all the best elements! Their Players Club & Spa wedding in Naples, Florida, was as dreamy as their love story, too, and we loved every moment we spent photographing our couple and their wonderful guests.

Jasmin & Jordan’s Story

Jasmin and Jordan first met each other during their freshman year of high school in a biology class. The first time they spoke was when Jasmine noticed a crowd surrounding Jordan. She had to know what was going on and found that Jordan had gotten his braces off. She then asked to touch his teeth. Weird, right? What’s even weirder is that he said, “Sure!” After this, they were assigned new seats, and to their surprise, their seats were in the back row next to each other. From then on, a friendship bloomed. They were friends all of their high school and even crushed on each other, not knowing each other’s feelings. They shared a few high school dances and the most memorable Summerfest (2011), but it wasn’t until senior year that Jordan admitted to Jasmine that he liked her. From then, they became inseparable and spent the next nine years creating memories that will last longer than a lifetime. That sure is one high school sweethearts’ story at its finest!

From college, music festivals, new friendships, and travel, they feel extremely fortunate to have shared such memorable experiences. It wasn’t until Jasmine studied in Paris that Jordan asked her to spend forever with him. And that was the most magical day for both of them! Though the couple jokes about it being special for Jasmine, whereas for Jordan, it could have been somewhere at a Bassnectar concert.

Before their wedding, our couple said, “Nine years can feel like forever, but we knew this was only the beginning. We can’t express how excited we are to share our love for one another on our special day with all of you. Thank you for being a part of our love story.”

Our couple’s wedding venue, the Players Club & Spa, was like a Caribbean paradise. Being one of the premier event venues in South Naples, the club offered enticing menus and top-notch hospitality. With gorgeous greenery around and so many photo-worthy spots, we created some stellar images. Some believe rain on your wedding day is good luck. We say rain on your wedding day makes for romantic pictures, which was exactly the case for Jasmine and Jordan. However, these two not only had rain on their wedding day, but the venue was struck by lightning, and the fire department had to evacuate the building. Luckily, no one was injured, and the couple was also able to make a sparkler exit in style. If the saying is true, our couple has all the luck they will ever need.
