Alyssa and Chris

We really enjoyed photographing Alyssa and Chris’ special day back in September, especially since we were around people we already knew. They had a beautiful Long Island vineyard wedding in Cutchogue, New York.  

The bride and groom were surrounded by family and friends. Alyssa is one of three girls. She had her two sisters Lauren and Miranda by her side all day. We loved capturing the special moments between the sisters.

Family Friends

This wedding was very close to our hearts. I have known the bride, Alyssa, since she was a little girl. Her oldest sister, Lauren, is one of my best friends. I was honored when they asked us to come to New York to photograph their wedding. We took shots of both the bride and groom getting ready right before the ceremony. Josh and I love that we can photograph weddings together because we get to capture exactly how the bride and groom are getting ready at the same time. The setup and scenery of the wedding venue were absolutely breathtaking. We managed to take the most amazing photographs of the venue right before the sunset. When we found out the wedding was at a vineyard, we couldn’t wait for the big day. We got to take the bride and groom down into the cellar and photograph a portion of the romantic shots in a unique location.

Alyssa had also mentioned that she really wanted to run in the vineyards with Chris and that is what they did. The sunset was just beautiful on their wedding day. The light was memorizing. They walked into the sunset hand in hand,  as if their wedding day was a modern day fairytale.
