Marielle & Reid’s Story

As wedding photographers, we are always excited to hear new love stories. And of course, knowing our couples and their stories helps us establish a relationship with them and also photograph them better on their wedding day. In a way, it helps us bring out the essence of their love story through photographs.

We asked Marielle & Reid about their story, and here’s what our bride told us, “Reid and I were introduced through mutual friends at the South Dakota State University after sharing multiple advertising classes together. After our first date at the school rock wall, where I showed Reid up on how to scale a wall, Reid knew I was the one. After three years and two moves across the country, Reid popped the question back in the town where we first met. Now, with both of us working for SDSU, we are ready to start the next chapter!”

Marielle & Reid’s Deer Creek Country Club wedding was as romantic as their love story. From taking the getting ready images of our bride and groom to photographing them together – everything was so much fun! We even got lovely pictures of our couple with their bridal party and other guests. With terrific architecture, sophisticated aesthetics, and immaculately manicured gardens, the Deer Creek Club offered picture-perfect backdrops for photography. The floor-to-ceiling windows gave way to the most gorgeous natural light, and the intricate crystal chandeliers inside the ballroom also offered a romantic light for our images. The grounds at the club also feature tranquil waterfronts, which were ideal for the couple portraits.

Every wedding has its own sweet and heartwarming moments, and Marielle and Reid’s was no different. The first look, the first kiss of the newlyweds, and traditional dances were beautiful moments to witness and photograph. But that wasn’t all! There was lots of laughter, partying, and crazy dancing too. And the elegant Deer Creek Country Club wedding was the perfect venue to host all the festivities.
