Lovely couples, their sweet love stories, and spectacular wedding venues are what we live for! And Marissa and Orlando’s wedding at Parkland Golf & Country Club checked all three boxes! The venue is full of backdrops that make for perfect additions to wedding photos, and we absolutely loved photographing our couple and their guests in front of them. Marissa & Orlando’s Story

Talking about their love story, Marissa said, “One of my best friends unintentionally hooked us up. I was hanging out at her house, and she invited him over (we had never met). He was very shy and quiet, but once he left, he slid into my DMs, haha. We spent time chatting here and there but didn’t officially go out on a date until about 3 months later. After that first date, we just hit it off!” As we said, we are big fans of sweet love stories.

When we asked her about the proposal story, Marissa shared, “After being together for about 4 years, he proposed. It was Valentine’s Day, so I figured we were just going to dinner (at DaDa’s) but little did I know he would end up dropping to one knee. He caught me off guard, and then my sister was hiding. I was on cloud nine, and then it was a torrential downpour.” Kudos to Orlando for excellent planning!

Marissa and Orlando’s wedding was as beautiful as their love story. Besides a great ambiance and aesthetic, the Parkland Golf & Country Club also had top-of-the-line services. The main entrance was definitely the highlight for us. There were fountains, a tunnel, walls adorned with gorgeous climbers, and Tuscan-inspired landscape. The Club also had a lush botanical garden, which turned out to be the perfect spot for couple portraits. The venue has multiple areas for ceremonies, both indoors and outdoors, clubhouses, and exquisite cuisine, making it perfect for couples who love a mix of space, greenery, and luxury.

Our couple had a Ketubah signing before the ceremony and a reception full of fun and dancing. From our couple’s wedding attire to the decor at the wedding venue, everything was laced with elegance. One of the memorable moments of the wedding was the way our bride and groom danced! They were just glowing with happiness and had so much fun partying with their loved ones.
