Back in May, we had the amazing opportunity to shoot a wedding at the Weston Hills Country Club in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for Nicole and John. This was such a beautiful wedding and a true break away from the norm!

Nicole & John’s Weston Hills Country Club Wedding

The Weston Hills Country Club is a gorgeous country club and wedding venue in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. It’s got not one but TWO incredibly designed golf courses—perfect for any grooms and groomsman who want to tee off before their big day.

But more than that, they truly aim to make your wedding day run as smoothly as possible with multiple wedding packages that can be tailored to your needs.

Nicole and John were so excited while getting ready. You could tell that they’d been waiting for this day for a long time and couldn’t wait to say their I do’s. When Nicole finally walked down the aisle towards John, the air was packed with so much magic and love and it was a true joy to capture.

After the wedding, we were able to get some shots of just John and Nicole inside the cathedral and that was a real treat! We loved the way the stained glass reflected off the floor to create the perfect shot.

And when it was time for the reception, we knew things were going to get wild! The friends and family of Nicole and John really knew how to have a good time! Everyone was having a blast and when it was time for the bride and groom to make their grand exit, everyone grabbed a bottle of champagne to send Nicole and John off with a toast. It was a champagne explosion!

We love when our clients deviate from the norm and break traditions on how a wedding should go. The champagne exit from Nicole and John goes to show that you don’t always have to have a standard wedding with the same old elements of previous generations. Do what feels right to you.
