Here are some of our favorite South Florida engagement session locations:
The Palm Beach Zoo
Don’t laugh! The Palm Beach Zoo has so many different areas to get amazing pictures to go along with the animals. We have done a few here and really enjoy the sights, sounds, and scenes of the zoo.
Jupiter Lighthouse

A 108 feet lighthouse built in 1860 that is now painted red, makes a beautiful backdrop for your photos. You can also go inside the lighthouse for an array of images for your engagement.
Parks
There are so many parks in South Florida, it is hard to keep track. From the Everglades to the beach parks to any of the hundreds of local parks. South Florida has lots of scenery to choose from.
The Boca Raton Resort
This resort, built by famous architect Addison Mizner in the 1920’s, is a true Florida landmark. From the golf course to the old Florida trees and plush landscapes on the grounds, The Boca Raton Resort has it all.
The Beach
Everyone comes to vacation in sunny Florida, why would you not take advantage of the beautiful ocean? There are ample beaches to choose from in South Florida. We have our favorites like Blowing Rocks, Dania Beach, and Boynton Beach. There are lighthouses, inlets, rock formations, and palm trees lining most of the beaches in South Florida. We particularly like the southwest coast for sunsets. There are not many places that compare to the west coast of Florida when it comes to otherworldly sunsets. Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
Have you been? If so, you understand why we love it and we really don’t need to explain why. If not, you need to go. An Italian estate designed on 50 acres of gorgeous gardens with fountains and steps that lead to beautiful buildings and views of Biscayne Bay, Vizcaya is at the top of many peoples list when it comes to photographs. We could spend all day there and never get tired of this luxurious site.
Your home
Why not show off that home you have been decorating and cook some pancakes while we document it? This is also a great opportunity to have your kids get involved (human or four-legged) in your engagement photos. Many people feel most comfortable at home, which allows for the most comfortable picture taking possibilities. Sure, taking pictures in your home is a little less formal, but we like that and we think you will too.

Thanks for this wonderful article. Yet another thing to mention is that the majority of digital cameras are available equipped with any zoom lens that permits more or less of your scene to get included by means of ‘zooming’ in and out. These changes in the aim length are reflected within the viewfinder and on large display screen right at the back of any camera.
