It’s not a secret that the pandemic forced many couples to postpone or reschedule their weddings. And though it also changed the way weddings were happening, the way our couples came up with new and unique plans to tie the knot just showed us how not even a pandemic could dampen the spirit and power of love! Samantha and Dan got married at the amazing Marriott Hutchinson Island Beach Resort. However, the highlight of this wedding was that it wasn’t their Plan B or Plan C, but Plan D. Yep, Samantha and Dan had to postpone their wedding three times before their fourth plan could finally work. We’ve been in awe of our beautiful couple’s determination and their bond and loved photographing their big day.

Samantha and Dan first met in college through a mutual friend at a country concert (Kip Moore) in 2013. They told us that they were both dating other people at the time, but as time went by, they kept running into each other on campus and started talking more, and things developed over time! They have been together since 12/22/2013 and now live in Long Island with their 1-year-old mini Aussie Doodle named Kona. Their wedding was supposed to happen in Anguilla, but when the Caribbean island suddenly closed two weeks before the wedding, they quickly switched gears and put together a fantastic plan for Florida.

Even though Samantha and Dan had to arrange things quickly, our couple did a flawless job! Their meticulous planning showed on their wedding day as everything was just perfect. From the venue and florals to decorations and all the other details – everything was planned with attention to detail. Marriott Hutchinson Island Beach Resort, Golf & Marina was stunning. It offered inspired event spaces on the Treasure Coast, which were great for photography. The best part was that Samantha and Dan got to have the beach wedding that they were keen on from the beginning. Besides this, our couple (and we) took full advantage of the elegant indoors and the golf course at Marriott Hutchison. Not many venues provide such variety, but the Marriott was incredible. As wedding photographers, we were very impressed with this wedding venue and had such a memorable time.

The blue sky, the brown and grainy sand, and a majestic ocean in the backdrop made for some gorgeous wedding images. The couple portraits during the sunset also turned out to be so dreamy and ethereal. The images that stood out for us were the ones where Samantha walked down the aisle. The bride and groom were overwhelmed with emotions and looked at each other with so much admiration and love. Our couple’s fun portraits with their bridesmaids and groomsmen were some of our favorites too. Samantha and Dan’s first dance to live music and their sparkler exit were as perfect as the rest of the wedding!
